Other Information:	The Child and Youth Care Association of Alberta (CYCAA), is seeking an individual to help research and develop the content for a series of interactive and dynamic on-line learning modules based on our certification curriculum. (The Child and Youth Care Association of Alberta is a voluntary board comprised of a cross section of practitioners of Child and Youth Care in Alberta). The Director of Research and Development will report to and be expected to work collaboratively with the members of the CYCAA Education Committee. The Director of Research and Development will be required to conduct research, develop training modules and to establish and monitor outcomes. The Director of Research and Development will need to have an extensive knowledge of the field of Child and Youth Care as they will be required to provide information/presentations to the membership regarding the modules. The Director will be expected to monitor and update the online learning program as required. Qualifications:  A degree in Human Services. A degree in CYC preferred. A Masters degree preferred.  Supervisory and/or teaching experience in Child and Youth Care.  Research and/or experience in delivering presentations in CYC.  A minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of Child and Youth Care.  Competent in the use of computers and familiarity with online learning programs.  A fully Certified Child and Youth Care Counsellor in Alberta preferred.  Equivalences will be considered as appropriate.
