Listen to thisAs a Child and Youth Care practitioner and service operator (in Toronto, Ontario, Canada) I am wondering how many Child and Youth Care readers of CYC-Net are involved in supervised visitation for children where the parents are involved in custody and access disputes.
We have been involved in providing supervised visitation services for many years and in the past three years we set up a separate company that primarily provides these services. We generally engage Child and Youth Care practitioners to provide the supervision. Currently we are trying to formally articulate the specific skills and knowledge that practitioners possess that lead to effective service and what skills and knowledge, gained from their Child and Youth Care education and experiences, need to be ignored or not utilized.
We are also interested at looking at supervised visitation on a global scale and I would love to hear from practitioners about their experiences.

I live in a province where there are only two supervised access visit companies. Both are unreliable. As a result I would like to open a company to fill this need in the manner that's necessary. Can you provide me some information in terms of the infrastructure and resources needed? It would be greatly appreciated.
